Our Mission:
The aims of the Society of Canary & Finch
Breeders (as a non-profit, avicultural organization)
are to promote the development, improvement and
breeding of Canaries and Finches; to assist those
engaged in the care and breeding of birds; to
exhibit at accredited shows; to sponsor an annual
show; and generally, to foster appreciation for, and
extend knowledge of such birds.

  • Club meetings are typically scheduled for the third Saturday of every month.  Reminder
    notices are emailed to members we have email addresses for, or mailed to members
    approximately two weeks before each meeting or event.

  • Membership applications are reviewed and accepted by the Executive Board then
    submitted to the membership for a majority vote.

  • Parties interested in club membership are encouraged to attend club meetings to
    familiarize themselves with the current membership!
